The next thing that you can do to fix the Macro execution problem is going to the control panel and repair the iCUE software. Reboot the PC and then launch iCUE again, follow the same procedure to go to the actions tab so that you can assign the macro again to your Corsair keyboard or mouse. You can do so, by opening up the iCUE and go to the device you’ve linked the macro with.Īccess the actions tab and then remove all macros from there. So, just reinstall the link on your PC and that would likely fix the macro execution error.Īccording to a few customers, the fix for this issue was as simple as removing the macro from the iCUE and then rebooting the PC before adding in the macro again. ![]() If everything is working perfectly, then you can now download the Corsair Link again and it won’t cause your macro settings to malfunction again. I do hope someone else can come up with a solution, it might help me with a few problem macro's that have been on the shelf for a few years.Icue macro execution is not working properlyĪssigning macros to your keyboard or mouse buttons can make your work more efficient. Anyways your workaround with the chprop might be the only way to handle this issue. You might need to read that last bit a few times but hopefully it will make just a bit of sense, I could be totally wrong but I can't think of a better way to try and describe it. If you notice when your macro starts it makes the layer active that is set in the properties, in your first macro (that we can't see) without the selection modifier your macro runs and then returns the layer to the original state as it finishes, but when you use the move command, the option too choose the last created object, is I think seen as a command modifier, and when the move command is completed, this causes the macro as a whole to end prematurely and does't let it set the layer back to the original, it somehow loses it's concentration. I ran into this sort of problem a few times, when you are running a macro and use command modifiers in certain conditions it stops the macro finishing correctly, I noticed it first running diesel in a macro, in conjunction with the cal command and command modifiers, I wish I could give all the technical details but I can't, it's almost as though a macro is a small program subroutine, and then when you add in a command modifier it starts a secondary sub routine, but the order that the program runs means that exiting the secondary command modifier actually cancels out of the macro all together as well without letting the macro finish cleanly and closing anything else it was doing. I can confirm you are not going mad, and also offer some shady explanation. ![]()
